We offer a choice of traditional Buffet menus, BBQ buffet and a Spitbraai. Details on all our menus including our Gourmet, Platter and Picnic baskets are available on request. With these menus, children under 12 receive 50% discount and children younger than 5 years are free of charge. We will add the difference in rates to your rate per guest.

Exclusivity:
When hiring more than 2 of our facilities you will receive exclusive use of the entire facility.
General rules and regulations:
Reception hall available from 9 in the morning until 24h00 in the evening. (After 24h00 in the evening we charge R1000.00 per hour venue hire). Music will end at 23:30 and the last round at the bar will be at 23:30. 50% deposit confirms your booking & your wedding date. The full amount for your wedding function must be fully paid 3 weeks before your wedding date. No alcohol is allowed on De Haven Oost Premises. No animals will be allowed on the premises. No fireworks will be allowed. Any damage to De Haven Oost venue’s property, linen, furniture or equipment will be charged to your account. No paper confetti or rice is allowed, if this is ignored then a fee will be charged per hour for casual cleaning staff. De Haven Oost Venue and its employees or any person employed at your wedding will not be kept liable for any loss or damage of any property or personal belongings whatsoever. De Haven Oost Venue will not be held liable for any interruptions of services like Electricity, Water and Sanitary.
Guest accommodation:
De Haven oost offers your guests, stylish 3 star accommodation.Guests attending your wedding can enjoy discounted rates @ R250.00 p/p per night excluded breakfast.
Brunch buffet:
The morning after your wedding we offer a scrumptious breakfast buffet for you and your guests @ R60p/p
Nanny services:
Hire a nanny @ R80.00 per child per hour with a maximum of 5 Children per nanny.
Service staff:
To ensure a high quality of service the following minimum staff is required: One waiter for every 20 guests @ R250.00per waiter, One barman for every 50 guests @ R250.00 per barmen. If you choose a set menu the service staff will be 1 waiter per 10 peopl
Bar Services:
De Haven Oost offers you and your guest a fully stocked bar and cigar lounge. With a wide range of the best local and international wine and champagne we cater for any taste. On request we can change our patio bar into a fully functional Cocktail bar with professionally trained cocktail barmen to add something different to your wedding. The bar facility has the option of a cash bar or open bar with a limit. Specific wine, champagne and cocktail bar selection must be finalised 1 month prior to the wedding. Corkage will be charged at R50 per bottle with a limit of 2 bottles per table of 6 people. Juice on table R40 per Jug. Bottled water R25 still or sparkling 1lt. Non alcoholic sparkling wine red or white R55. Alcoholic and non alcoholic welcome drink R7.50, Champagne from R85, Signature cocktail from R30, Welcome drink R30 per person.
Confirmation and deposit payments:
A 50% deposit confirms your booking. After receiving your quotation from De Haven Oost Venue a provisional booking will be made for 7 working days in which you need to confirm your date with a 50% deposit. If De Haven Oost does not receive a deposit or any confirmation within 7 days your provisional booking will be cancelled.
Show table:
After receiving your deposit we will schedule a date for the show table. During this appointment we will confirm and finalize your decor and flowers for your wedding date. If you are using De Haven Oost Venue’s in house Dj and Photographer they will be present at this appointment.
Food Tasting:
If you require to do a food tasting we will charge you R250.00 p/p for 2 different Menus except the spitbraai.
Final appointment:
3 weeks prior to your wedding date. The full amount for your wedding function must be fully paid 3 weeks before your wedding date as well as confirmation of the following: Amount of guest’s attending your wedding, finalizing the procedure of your wedding day, finalizing the menu
Cancellation:
2 Month or more prior to your wedding date 50% of the deposit will be charged, De Haven Oost Venue will refund you on the remaining amount (50%) of the deposit. 59 Days or less prior to your wedding date 100% of the deposit will be charged. De Haven Oost will not refund any of the deposit.
Set up of décor/ tables and closing times:
Set up time will be from 9 in the morning until 4 in the afternoon. On the day of the wedding the venue will be open from 8h30 until 12h00 in the morning. De Haven Oost will close the venue doors 3 hours prior to the wedding.
