Owing to our immense passion to create, we as a family-driven-company, have designed a quaint old town reminiscent of yesteryear with an amazingly romantic country life atmosphere. We and our staff treat our guests as family .... you will feel as though you have come home. At De Haven Oost we transform an ordinary celebration into one that sparkles with that perfect fusion of food, friends, family, laughter, music, colour, romance and rhythm. "....Het familie verhaal begintin die jaren 1800.... Die plaats was waar ‘n meer knus weggesteek was in Nederland. Zyn kristalhelder water had ‘n groot stuk land bedekt. Plaaslike bewoners waren verbaasd daar die helderheid van het water en weldra heft ‘n legend verspreid over de wereld van het meen zyn pracht. In 1918 ‘n ontdekkingsreisiger heft het meer weer gevonden en gouw het dit ‘n speelgrond geword van de ryken. In 1920 besluit hy toe om ‘n Haven te bouwen en heft dit aan syn vrou toegewyd, wie hy liefegehad heft met zyn hele hart.... Met muziek in die lucht,kunsvlyt, met den beste wynen en vreemde voedselsoorten had De Haven een opwindende en belovende atmosfeer van homzelf ......"
